Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.

The Short
Cinder is a fresh and exciting re-imagining of the fairytale, Cinderella. The story completely draws you in and implants itself in your mind. When I finished, it was honestly the only thing I thought about for days.

This book has jumped up to one of my favourite books of all time. Get it and read it now!

The Long

The Good
Brilliantly illustrated cast of characters, incredible futuristic world, twists and turns, CYBORGS!

The Bad
The sequel isn't coming out soon enough!
