Pages read since last update: 348
Pages read in total: 348
Thoughts/Notes:
As I mentioned in my first post, I was being a little naughty and starting early since a) it is already the 27th in Aus and b) I have work during the majority of the set times. I don't want to miss out and I needed to get some reading done.
Anyway, for up until now I decided that staying away from my computer was the best option, as I am an easily distracted person. So here are the progressions I wrote down in my notepad as I went:
8am - Starting from page 156 of The Bridge to Holy Cross
11am - Currently on page 236
12:30pm - Page 286, but decided to take a break and start Quidditch Through the Ages (already read first 17 pages)
1:20pm - Finished Quidditch Through the Ages! Now back to TBTHC
2:30pm - Page 322
3:30pm - Page 359
4:45pm - Page 387... I seem to be slowing down for some reason
5:30pm - Page 410. Taking a short 15 minute break to do this post :)

Wow, you are so far ahead! I would hate to have to work during a readathon day, luckily I don't have to, although I do have some plans with the hubby. You're really whipping through those pages, so keep up the good work!

I always have to work during the readathons and I HATE IT!! I might read some when I get home tonight but I don't know how I will feel..It's book sale day at the library and IT IS CRAZY HERE!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, friend!
Good luck and keep up the good work! It's my first time participating in Dewey's and I'm focusing on cheering on other book lovers. Hope you have a productive rest of the day, looks like you are a couple hours ahead of me. Here's my Dewey's Read-a-thon post if you'd like to stop by.
ReplyDeleteIs perfectly normal that moment of slowing down, for me it was sign I needed a tiny nap. Keep the good reading going :)
