What's this? Another read-a-thon? I sure am liking the sounds of this! It is coming up pretty soon, and if you aren't sure about what it is then have a read:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 7.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

So I have prepared a list of books I would like to read during the week:
- The Summer Garden by Paullina Simons
- The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
- The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick
- The Selection by Kiera Cass
Hopefully I can get through a chunk of this month's TBR, if not finish them, and I have included a couple of other books I have been meaning to read for a little while now.
Will anyone be partaking in this read-a-thon?

The Selection is a really good readathon book, easy to read fun if you can overlook its faults. I just read the sequel which was the same kind of enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteThe Hobbit and The Knife of Letting Go are on my TBR list as well. Even though i really liked Dewey's readathon i don't think i can make it to this one, but keep us posted :)
ReplyDeleteI too am participating in this read-a-thon. I'll probably be making my sign-up post later tonight! New follower through GFC and bloglovin' :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to do Deweys read-a-thon but I'm deffinatly doing this one! I have no idea what I'm going to read though...I'll just see what happens during the week! ha! Hope you read all the books that you want to!

I was thinking for reading The Selection as well... I have had the ebook copy for a while now but I just haven't ended up reading it yet. The Knife of Letting Go is also on my TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing you rave about the Paullina Simons books in your Youtube videos, I am thinking of buying one to read. :)
Happy reading.
